Welcome to our website. Our parish is part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark, and serves a widespread rural community in the Weald of Kent and neighbouring parts of East Sussex. We have strong relationships with other Christian communities in our area. If you are visiting this beautiful area we hope you will join us for Mass at one of our churches.

Please pray for the five children will be making their First Communion at the 10.30 Mass on Sunday 20 May, the Feast of the Ascension

We need to reserve 40 seats for their families so we would be grateful if parishioners who are not involved could attend one of the other masses in our parish that weekend. Thank you!

On Whit Sunday, 27 May, there will be a special service at 6.30pm in St Barnabas, Hawkhurst. To celebrate the Feast of Pentecost we will be joined by clergy and parishioners from all the other churches in Hawkhurst. Please try to come and support our community!

Please collect a Faith Card from the table to carry with you. These cards indicate that we are baptised Catholics, and are a daily reminder of what our faith means to us. One side lists 6 things we are called to do, the other Cardinal Newman's prayer:

gift aid logo The Gift Aid refund for 2010/11 was a very significant £5392.20! 
If you wish to Gift Aid your offering you must complete a declaration form! They are available in each church - just put them in with the collection.  (Also available on forms page.) If you have moved from (or also attend) another parish - sorry, you have to complete another form! Thereafter each £1 you put in a named envelope (available in pews) attracts 25p tax refund.
