 SAFEGUARDING children, young people and vulnerable adults in our Parish

The Catholic Church is committed to do everything possible to ensure children, young people and vulnerable adults are kept safe from harm. Each Diocese is expected to follow national guidelines.As part of the Archdiocese of Southwark we follow the procedures set out on their website  http://www.rcsouthwark.co.uk/safeguarding.html.

We make sure that activities in which children participate (such as the Children's Liturgy and First Communion Classes) are run by appropriate volunteers who understand their role and responsibilities. Volunteers are interviewed and have a CRB check.

Our representatives are Ali Lane (07761 755028) and Edward Hutt (07919 626921), who are responsible for making sure that the Parish follows the Archdiocese procedures and guidelines. Please contact either of them if you have any concerns or queries about Safeguarding.
